The family
Two kids, a wooded backyard they never really saw, and a dark galley kitchen in the way. The Okafors wanted morning light and a straight line from the stove to the trees.
We opened the wall to the old dining room, framed in a black-steel picture window, and centered the room on a warm walnut-and-Calacatta island where homework and dinner prep now happen side by side.
Natural, warm, and timeless — designed for everyday life, and finally connected to the woods that sold them on the house in the first place.
The transformation
Before & after
Where the Okafors started, and where they ended up.

The design
Every finish chosen before a single cabinet was ordered.
We render the room in photorealistic 3D and build the material palette first, so the Okafors approved the finished kitchen before demolition started.

The build
Built by our own crews.
The same people from the first sketch to the final walkthrough — no subcontracted mystery, no handoffs where the design gets lost.
